DSS Arrests Journalist Adejuwon Soyinka At Lagos Airport

The Department of State Services (DSS) has reportedly detained a journalist and West African Regional Editor for The Conversation Africa, Adejuwon Soyinka according to a report by PREMIUM TIMES.

The journalist, Soyinka, was taken into custody at Lagos’ Murtala Muhammed International Airport on Sunday at approximately 5:40 a.m., shortly after his arrival from the United Kingdom on a Virgin Atlantic flight.

The reasons for his detention have not yet been disclosed.

Soyinka previously held the position of Pioneer Editor for the BBC Pidgin Service.
