Nollywood Actor, Zack Orji Slumps, In Critical Condition (VIDEO)

Veteran Nollywood actor, Zack Orji allegedly slumped and has been taken to the intensive Care Unit of the National Hospital in Abuja where he is fighting for his life.

The ace actor, who is 63, was said to have slumped in the toilet after feeling very weak and was rushed to the hospital.

Call for Prayers for Zack Orji

Fans of the ailing actor have called for prayers for his recovery.

A post by a chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Joe Igbokwe on Facebook post on Sunday, said, “PLEASE PRAY FOR JACK ORJI.

“Nollywood Actor Zack Orji in critical condition in the ICU of the National Hospital in Abuja.

“According to reports Orji can’t walk or talk, and all kinds of test is being run on him to ascertain what is wrong.

“He was rushed to the hospital two days ago after he slumped in the toilet after being quite weak for a few weeks.”

REPORT AFRIQUE earlier reported on the failing health of actor John Okafor, also known as Mr. Ibu and that of actor Amaechi Muonagor.

He was born Zachee Ama Orji in Libreville, Gabon and grew up in Cameroon, Benin and Togo where he learnt how to speak both English and French fluently.

 He is a graduate of University of NigeriaNsukka. His first movie was in 1991 and was entitled Unforgiven Sin. In an interview with Nollywood Post, Orji shared how he got the lead role in the movie without auditioning. Since then, Orji has starred in different movies and is now a Nollywood legend. He is also a singer and preacher of God’s word since he found Christ.

Zack Orji is married to Ngozi Orji and they are blessed with three children.

In 2000, Zack Orji made his directorial debut with the movie titled WEB starring himself and Ghanaian actress, Kalsoume Sinare. The movie won best collaborative film in the Ghana awards of 2001.
