President Bola Tinubu has recently made significant appointments within the Nigerian Ports Authority (NPA) and the Nigerian Maritime Administration and Safety Agency (NIMASA), both falling under the Federal Ministry of Marine and Blue Economy.

In the Nigerian Ports Authority, Ms. Vivian C. Richard Edet assumes the role of Executive Director, Finance and Administration, demonstrating a focus on financial management. Engr. Olalekan Badmus takes charge as the Executive Director of Marine and Operations, while Engr. Ibrahim Abba Umar is appointed as the Executive Director of Engineering and Technical Services. These appointments highlight a diversified leadership team poised to address various aspects of port operations and development.
In the Nigerian Maritime Administration and Safety Agency, Mr. Jibril Abba is appointed as Executive Director of Maritime Labour and Cabotage Services, emphasizing the importance of labor and safety in maritime activities. Mr. Chudi Offodile assumes the role of Executive Director of Finance and Administration, overseeing financial aspects, and Engr. Fatai Taye Adeyemi is appointed as the Executive Director of Operations, responsible for operational efficiency.
