Program Overview
The Chevron Internship Program provides participants with the opportunity to work on diverse assignments aligned with their academic discipline or research focus. Interns will be supervised by experienced professionals who will guide their growth and development. The program emphasizes hands-on experience, mentorship, and curated learning opportunities, enabling interns to gain insights into industry operations and functional areas.
Eligibility Criteria
- Undergraduate Students
- Open to Nigerian Students: Applicants must be studying either in Nigeria or abroad.
- Current Enrollment: Candidates must be enrolled in a program leading to a graduate degree (Bachelor’s, National Diploma, or Higher National Diploma).
- Mandatory Industry Experience: The internship must be a requirement for completing their academic program.
Postgraduate Students
- Open to Nigerian Students: Applicants must be pursuing postgraduate degrees (Master’s, Doctorate, or professional qualifications) in Nigeria or overseas.
- Current Enrollment: Candidates must be actively pursuing their degree or research work.
- Mandatory Research/Industry Requirement: The internship must be a necessary component of their program.
Application Requirements
For both undergraduate and postgraduate applicants:
- Recommendation Letter: A recommendation letter from the institution must accompany the application.
- Submission: Applications must be submitted online through the designated application portal.
- Aptitude Tests: All candidates will undergo shortlisting, which includes aptitude tests or interviews. Selection is based on performance and available positions.

- Internship Duration:
- Undergraduate internships last between 3 and 12 months.
- Postgraduate internships range from 6 to 12 months for Master’s students and up to 24 months for Doctoral candidates.
