Dangote Refinery Commences Production, Marks Milestone with Fifth Crude Oil Shipment

The Dangote Refinery and Petrochemical Company officially commenced production on Friday, following the reception of its fifth crude oil shipment.

The Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation Limited supplied one million barrels of Bonny Light for the state-of-the-art refinery.

The 650,000 barrels per day oil processing facility, which initiated operations in May 2023, stands as a pivotal addition to the global energy landscape.

Designed to process crude oil grades sourced from Africa, Asia, and America, the refinery positions itself as a key player in the refining industry.
