A gossip blog in Nigeria, Gistlover.com has busted a gang of criminal police squad that allegedly arrests and kills some of their victims after fleecing them of their monies and properties.
The blog, run by a faceless blogger whose identity remains obscure, accused a leading police figure in Anambra state, the Chief Superintendent of Police (CSP), Patrick Agbazue, officer in charge of State Criminal and Investigation and the State Criminal Investigation and Intelligence Department (SCIID) annex Awkuzu in Anambra State, and his team of stealing from suspects in their custody, killing them afterwards.
CSP Agbazue andhis team have been arrested by orders from the office of the Inspector General of the Police.
The arrest and transfer of CSP Agbazue and his team were carried out by the Police Service Commission (PSC) after an investigation into the allegations of misconduct.
The PSC is responsible for overseeing the conduct of police officers and ensuring that they adhere to ethical standards and best practices in their duties.
