Port Harcourt, Nigeria — The Rivers State Governor, Siminalayi Fubara has constituted a seven-member Judicial Commission of Inquiry to investigate the recent arson, killings, and destruction of property that took place across various Local Government Areas (LGAs) in the state on Monday.

This decision follows the attacks on the secretariats of Ikwerre, Eleme, and Emohua LGAs, which were set ablaze shortly after police officers assigned to secure the 23 council secretariats were withdrawn by the Rivers State Commissioner of Police, Kayode Egbetokun.

Governor Fubara condemned the attacks and vowed to bring the perpetrators to justice. He emphasized that unlike previous incidents of violence, this case will not be overlooked, and his administration will collaborate with security agencies to identify and prosecute those responsible.

A statement released on Tuesday by the Office of the Secretary to the State Government, Dr. Tammy Danagogo, announced the setting up of the Judicial Commission pursuant to Section 2(1) of the Commissions of Inquiry Law, Cap 30, Laws of Rivers State of Nigeria, 1999.

  1. The problem just got escalated and further elevated with added fuel to the burnfire.

EVERY DUMB BOMBASTIC GOON WERE QUICK TO JUMP TO HAIL AND GLOAT OVER THE ELECTION THAT CONRAVENED EVERY RULE INCLUDING A SUBSTANTIVE COURT ORDER.

Saying Fubara called the bluff of his godfather. In an election that had just one out of over 20 political parties.

IF YOU CONSIDER SUCH TO BE A VALID ELECTION MUST BE A FOOL.

I am not a favourite of Wike neither do I know or think he is of me either.

WHY DID Fubara AGREE TO ACCEPT A JOB OR SUPPORT OF A Godfather HE WAS NOT READY TO BOW TO AFTER HELPING HIM INTO THE OFFICE.

Nigerians love to celebrate INGRATES RENEGADES AND TRAITORS.

Fubara should not have accepted to take the offer of office from the Wike he knew too well except he was a DREAMING goat.

YES, YOU CANNOT DISOBEY AND DEFY A VALID COURT ORDER AND NOT HAVE ANACHY!
