In a tragic incident, Herbert Wigwe, the group chief executive officer (CEO) of Access Holdings Plc, was reportedly involved in a helicopter crash in the United States on Friday. The crash occurred in California near the Nevada border.
Alongside Wigwe, his wife and son were also aboard the helicopter, as well as Abimbola Ogunbanjo, the former group chairman of Nigerian Exchange Group Plc (NGX Group).
The helicopter was carrying a total of six passengers, but as of now, no survivors have been found. Rescue efforts are underway to ascertain the full extent of the tragedy.
