A former community youth leader identified as Jeff Nmawoke was this evening shot dead, with four other victims, in a beer parlour in Egbema, Imo state.
The tragic incident which occurred in Abacheke, a community in Egbema, Imo state, had four others massacred by yet-to-be-identified gunmen.

A video of the incident circulated on Whatsapp shows a gruesome scene of three persons lying in the pool of their blood in a bar while a crowd scream their names.
It is not yet clear the reason behind the attacks as details were still sketchy as at the time of this report.
An indigene of the community, Comr December Nwadoro, confirmed to REPORT AFRIQUE that the perpetrators of the act were seen putting on uniforms identified to be army camouflage.
Among the victims was one Bright Nmawoke, a direct relative to Jeff Nmawoke, the former Youth President of Abacheke who was alleged to be the primary target of the attack. See the video.
