Kebbi, Nigeria – Suspected members of the Lakurawa terrorist group have killed two police officers and rustled over 200 cows in an attack on Natsini village, located in the Argungu Local Government Area of Kebbi State.
The attack, which occurred late Thursday night around 11 p.m., saw the assailants—reportedly numbering over 50 and riding motorcycles—overpower a police checkpoint along the Augie/Kangiwa road before proceeding to raid a nearby ranch.

The village of Natsini is situated approximately 5 kilometers from Argungu town.
Aliyu Gulma, the chairman of Argungu Local Government, confirmed the incident, stating that the council was holding a security meeting to address the situation. He added that the Kebbi State Government had directed security agencies to pursue the attackers and recover the stolen cattle.
Efforts to reach the spokesperson for the Kebbi State Police Command, SP Nafiu Abubakar, were unsuccessful as of the time of filing this report.
