Abeokuta, Nigeria – A shocking incident has unfolded in Abeokuta, Ogun State, where a landlord, Bola Tobiloba, has been arrested for allegedly defiling his tenant’s 14-year-old daughter.
The horrific event occurred last Friday in the Arinlese area, leaving the community reeling in shock.
According to Omolola Odutola, spokesperson for the Ogun State Police Command, the survivor’s father reported the incident to the Adatan Police Division at 2:15 p.m. on September 13, 2024. The victim suffered severe injuries, including a tear in her private area, resulting in significant bleeding.
Upon arrival at the scene, police officers found blood on the floor and the survivor’s clothing. She was immediately rushed to the hospital for medical treatment. Tobiloba is currently in custody and will face the full force of the law.
This disturbing incident comes on the heels of another similar case in Sagamu, where 55-year-old Hassan Wasiu allegedly defiled his neighbor’s 13-year-old daughter. The suspect had allegedly lured the young girl into his room to commit the heinous act.
