Police Arrest Six Cybercrime Suspects in Rivers State

Ogun State, Nigeria – A tragic incident occurred in Ipokia, Ipokia Local Government Area of Ogun State, where a woman, Abigel Bankole, allegedly pushed her 65-year-old neighbour, Oladega Morenike, to death during a fight.

According to the Ogun State Police Command, the incident happened on Thursday around 4:20 pm. The police spokesperson, SP Omolola Odutola, stated that the victim’s son, Ibrahim Oladega, reported the incident at the police station.

Odutola explained that the argument between Bankole and Morenike escalated into a physical fight, resulting in Bankole pushing Morenike, who hit her head against a wall and collapsed.

The police have launched an investigation into the incident, and efforts are underway to apprehend Bankole, who fled the scene. The victim’s body has been deposited at the morgue of General Hospital, Ilaro, for autopsy.

The case will be transferred to the State Criminal Investigation Department (SCID) in Abeokuta for further investigation.
