Reno Omokri, former aide to former president Goodluck Jonathan has released audio tapes allegedly having the current minister of transportation, Rotimi Amaechi, saying that president Buhari does not read.
In the short audio released by Omokri on his twitter page, Amaechi was allegedly heard saying Buhari does not listen to complaints of Nigerians, nor read comments concerning his administration.
The former presidential spokesman wrote: “Nigerians hear the audio of Rotimi Amaechi’s conversation, they may weep. The man has no iota of respect for Buhari.
“In fact, he hero worshipped former President Obasanjo in the tape and said he is the only worthy Nigerian leader. They know the truth, but hide it!”
Reno first released a part of the audio where Buhari’s name was never mentioned. Tolu Ogunlesi, media aide to president Buhari denounced the tape saying it was in 2014, and that Amaechi was referring to former president Jonathan.
Reno then released the full tape having Rotimi Amaechi mention Buhari as he describes an event involving the president and an Onitsha trader afterwards.
Yesterday, I set up the @NGRPresident. I knew if I released the full #AmaechiTapes, they’d say it was fake. Now that @ToluOgunlesi admitted it is actually Amaechi, but from 2014, here is the rest of Part 1 proving that @AsoRock lied. Part 2 is coming shortly. LISTEN and SHARE pic.twitter.com/e3WiSyPIdX

In the audio, Amaechi said:
” The president does not listen to anybody. You can write whatever you want to right, he does not care. He will sign. Does he read? He doesn’t read.”
