Akwa Ibom State Governor Umo Eno, a member of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP), emphasized his support for President Bola Tinubu and advocated for respectful collaboration between their administrations.

During a gathering where thousands of defectors from other political parties were welcomed into the PDP fold, Governor Eno highlighted his reverence for President Tinubu as a leader of the nation. He articulated his commitment to fostering cooperation with the Tinubu administration to bring development to Akwa Ibom.

Governor Eno stressed the importance of maintaining a dignified approach towards leadership, urging against the culture of attacking political figures. He emphasized his belief in respectful discourse and constructive engagement with leaders at all levels of government.

“As a pastor trained to respect people, we must continue to exhibit humility, compassion, and respect towards constituted authority,” Governor Eno asserted.

He reiterated his dedication to the PDP while affirming his intention to support President Tinubu’s administration, emphasizing the need for unity and peace within the state and the nation at large.

Governor Eno cautioned against attending unauthorized meetings or succumbing to deceptive invitations aimed at sowing discord within the party. He assured the people of Akwa Ibom of his commitment to their welfare and urged them to remain steadfast in their support for the PDP.

Governor Umo Eno reiterated the importance of allegiance to the President of Nigeria and called for a spirit of cooperation and mutual respect in governance and political discourse.
