Breaking: Stanbic IBTC Bank Building in Calabar is on Fire

The Stanbic IBTC bank building along Marian Road, in Calabar, Cross Rivers state is currently engulfed in flames.

A video posted on Facebook by Philip Obin, a former SSA to former Vice President Yemi Osinbajo, shows the bank building burning from the roof.

A victim of the fire who emerged from the building said the fire had erupted from a diesel storage drum. He had burn injuries on his body from the fire in the building.

It was not clear how many persons were injured from the inferno. The Cross River state Fire Service was said not to have responded to emergency calls as at the time of the video.
