Abuja, Nigeria – TotalEnergies has announced the launch of its Young Graduate Program, aimed at providing recent graduates with hands-on professional experience and international exposure.
The initiative is designed to develop future leaders in the energy sector by offering participants the opportunity to explore multiple roles within the company over a 24-month rotational program.
Program Overview
The TotalEnergies Young Talent Trainee Program is tailored to equip graduates with the technical skills, industry knowledge, and professional abilities needed to thrive in the energy sector. Participants will rotate through various departments, gaining diverse experience while receiving mentorship and professional training.
According to MSME Africa, the program focuses on developing a well-rounded understanding of TotalEnergies’ operations through collaborative projects and mentorship activities. Successful candidates will be exposed to a wide range of tasks, from shadowing experienced employees to contributing to discussions and problem-solving initiatives.
Eligibility Criteria
Candidates interested in applying for the program must meet the following criteria:
- Hold a Matric qualification and a B/BTech degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Electromechanical Engineering.
- Alternatively, a B/BTech degree in Finance or an Accounting Technician NQ5 qualification is also acceptable.
- Possess 0–5 years of work experience with a strong academic record.
- Be proficient in Microsoft software applications, including PowerPoint, Excel, and Word.
- Demonstrate excellent communication skills, curiosity, and a willingness to learn, along with problem-solving and analytical thinking capabilities.
