Abuja, Nigeria – August 27, 2024: The U.S. Embassy in Abuja and the U.S. Consulate General in Lagos have announced a significant transition to a new visa services provider, set to take effect from August 26, 2024.

This change follows the scheduled exit of the current service provider from the visa appointment process.

In an official statement released on the Embassy’s website, it was disclosed that applicants with nonimmigrant visa interviews scheduled on or before August 16, 2024, do not need to take any additional action. These individuals will still have access to their accounts on ustraveldocs.com, where they can view appointment details and contact customer service as necessary.

Applicants were advised to print their appointment confirmation letters before this deadline. In the event of a missed interview, instructions for rescheduling will be available on the new visa services website after August 26, 2024.

For those with interviews scheduled on or after August 26, 2024, the new visa services website, set to launch on the same date, will be the platform to use for all visa-related processes, including fee payments, appointment scheduling, and customer service.
