Update: Owner of De Porsche Nightclub, Chief Orji Ebere allegedly kidnapped by gunmen who attacked his facility in Oba

The owner of De Porsche Nightclub, Chief Orji Ebere is alleged to have been kidnapped by the gunmen who attacked his facility late Sunday, a source close to the family has revealed.

The attack on Porsche Nightclub left at least 7 persons dead, one beheaded in Oba, Idemili South LGA of Anambra state.

Chief Ebere is said to be a very prominent figure in the town and operates the nightclub which is a centre for commercial fanfare and nightlife in the Oba vicinity.

A source which spoke with REPORT AFRIQUE and pleaded anonymity said the gunmen arrived around 12 am on Sunday night but were resisted leading to the death of at least 7 persons by gunshot wounds and one beheaded.

It is still not clear why the attack was carried out on the facility. Local police has however confirmed the attack and has commenced investigations to unravel the assailants.
