The president of the Actors Guild of Nigeria, Emeka Rollas has debunked the rumours of the death of ace actor Zack Orji.
Rumours of the death of the veteran actor started appearing online on the March 25 a few days after the death of veteran actor Amaechi Muonagor was announced.
In a post on his Facebook page, Mr. Rollas called the rumours the product of mischief makers. He affirmed that the veteran actor was safe and alive.

Please ignore misschief makers who enjoy circulating fake news.
This is to show how wicked some people can be. It is totally unacceptable.” Rollas posted.
The recent deaths of three prominent Nollywood personalities – Mr Ibu, Andy Best and Amaechi Muonagor – have kept movie lovers worried over the turn of events in the Nigerian movie industry.
Mr. John Okafor aka Mr. Ibu died in February, while Chief Okechukwu Nnadi aka Andy Best Productions and Amaechi Muonagor died in March, 2024. The veterans had fallen ill before their deaths.
Zack Orji’s Health Issues
In December, 2023, Zack Orji slumped and was taken to the intensive Care Unit of the National Hospital in Abuja for treatment.
It was not clear what led to the actors sudden ill health and little has been heard of him after that incident.
Amidst recent rumours of his death, his colleagues have now reaffirmed that he is safe and alive.
