TRAGEDY IN ONDO: Wife Allegedly Kills Husband with Pestle over Side Chick

A shocking incident has occurred in Akungba, Akoko southwest local government area of Ondo State, where a woman, Omolara Oluwakemi, allegedly smashed her husband’s head with a pestle while he was asleep.

The husband, Seidu Jamiu, was pronounced dead at the hospital after being rushed there by neighbors who responded to the wife’s distress call.

According to eyewitnesses, the couple had a heated argument the previous night over the husband’s alleged infidelity and side chick. The wife had reportedly attacked her husband in a fit of rage, leaving him in a pool of blood.

The police have taken the wife into custody and transferred her to the police headquarters for further investigation. Sympathizers revealed that the deceased had recently bought a car for the suspect, making the incident even more tragic.

The Ondo Police spokesman, Funmilayo Odunlami-Omisanya, confirmed the incident, stating that the wife reported the matter at the police station, claiming that unknown individuals killed her husband. However, investigation has commenced, and no arrest has been made yet.
