About “My City, My Story’ Campaign

The “My City, My Story”  project was kick started to promote success stories peculiar to iconic cities in Nigeria. #MadeOfPortHarcourt is a subset meant to promote the amazing success stories that abound in the city of Port Harcourt, River state in Nigeria’s oil rich Niger Delta region. Port Harcourt is a city rich in oil and gas yet bedeviled with stories of violence and political restiveness as a section of the media would want to have the world believe, but its soul is truly fueled by hospitable and beautiful people.

The “My City, My Story” project by Social Metrics Limited, an online PR firm, seeks to “untell” some of the lies told about Port Harcourt by telling mostly its good and amazing stories.  The project shall be unfolded in phases starting with the interviews, docu-series and finally a drama series that will feature online and on TV stations across the globe.
