Dangote Petroleum Refinery Lowers Petrol Prices for Nigerians
In a recent announcement, Dangote Petroleum Refinery revealed a decrease in the price of Premium Motor Spirit (PMS), commonly known as petrol. The new price has been set at N970 per liter, down from the previous rate of N990.
The news was shared on Sunday via a statement from Anthony Chiejina, the Group Chief Branding and Communications Officer of the refinery. He characterized the price reduction as a token of appreciation to Nigerians for their steadfast support throughout the refinery’s journey toward becoming operational.
“As the year draws to a close, this price cut reflects our gratitude towards the wonderful people of Nigeria, who have been instrumental in turning the refinery’s vision into a reality,” Chiejina noted.
He also expressed thanks to the Nigerian government for its backing, emphasizing that the price reduction aligns with governmental efforts to promote local enterprises for the betterment of all.
Chiejina reassured consumers that while the refinery remains committed to delivering high-quality petroleum products, it is equally focused on environmental sustainability.
“We are dedicated to increasing production levels to not only meet but exceed domestic fuel needs, thereby alleviating any concerns regarding supply shortages,” he added.
This price adjustment signals Dangote Petroleum Refinery’s ongoing commitment to supporting the Nigerian economy and enhancing fuel accessibility for citizens.
