Governor Alex Otti Appoints Benson Okereke as New Head of Service for Abia State

Governor Alex Otti of Abia State has officially named Mr. Benson Okereke as the new Head of Service, following a thorough selection process based on merit. This significant appointment will take effect on December 31, 2024, coinciding with the retirement of the current Head of Service, Dr. Ngozi Queen Obioma.

The announcement was made through a press release issued on Monday by the Secretary to the State Government, Prof. Kenneth Kalu. The statement expressed the Governor’s gratitude for the substantial contributions made by Dr. Obioma during her tenure, as she prepares to conclude her service and enter retirement.
