Electrocution Incident in Enugu: Suspected Cable Thief Left Behind by Accomplices

A man, whose identity remains unknown, was electrocuted while allegedly attempting to steal armored cables from the Enugu Electricity Distribution Company (EEDC) at Ihe Primary School in Obukpa, located within the Nsukka Local Government Area of Enugu State, on Monday night.

Reports indicate that the individual sustained severe burns across his body due to the electrocution. Witnesses revealed that he arrived at the scene with accomplices in a mini-bus, which bore the registration number BLF-203XA. After the incident, the accomplices fled the area, leaving the victim behind.

Upon further investigation of the abandoned mini-bus, authorities discovered an identification card, which may provide leads in the ongoing quest to locate the suspect’s partners in crime.
