Kanye West and Bianca Censori Face Split Rumors Amidst Controversy
Reports surfaced Thursday suggesting that Kanye West, now known as Ye, and his wife Bianca Censori are heading for a divorce, marking a tumultuous period for the rapper amidst a cascade of controversies. Sources indicate that both parties have sought legal counsel regarding a potential separation, according to TMZ, while the Daily Mail reports Censori may receive a $5 million settlement.
The news follows a recent controversial appearance at the Grammy Awards, where Censori’s near-nude attire sparked widespread debate about West’s influence over his wife, particularly given her frequent semi-nude appearances throughout their two-year marriage. Critics voiced concerns that the 47-year-old was exerting undue control.
Adding to the turmoil, West embarked on a series of inflammatory posts on X (formerly Twitter), where he declared himself a “Nazi” and claimed “dominion over” Censori. “I don’t make her do nothing she doesn’t want to but she definitely wouldn’t have been able to do it without my approval,” he wrote, his message riddled with grammatical errors. The account was abruptly deactivated late last week, leaving it unclear whether West or X took the action.
Further exacerbating the situation, West’s Yeezy.com website was shut down by e-commerce platform Shopify after it began selling T-shirts emblazoned with swastikas. Shopify cited a violation of its terms of service as the reason for the removal. The website now displays a handwritten message stating, “Yeezy stores coming soon.”
The New York Post claims that the swastika T-shirt incident was the final catalyst for Censori. “She’s had enough,” a source told the publication. “The swastika shirt was the last straw. She told him that’s not who she is, and that she can’t be associated with that… She doesn’t want any part of that circus. He believes that she’ll come back to him, he’s saying that she’s just mad at him, but right now she’s told him that she’s completely done.”
However, Milo Yiannopolous, identified as a representative for West and Censori by The Hollywood Reporter, refuted the reports of a split. “Ye and Bianca are in Los Angeles, about to enjoy Valentine’s Day together. Announcements about their private life will come from them directly, not unsourced rumor in the tabloid press,” Yiannopolous stated.
West, who has previously discussed his experiences with bipolar disorder but now identifies as autistic, was previously married to Kim Kardashian. They divorced in 2022 and have four children together. The current status of West and Censori’s relationship remains uncertain amidst conflicting reports.
