TikTok bans nigerian who buried himself alive For 24 hours

TikTok, the popular short video platform, has permanently banned the account of a Nigerian individual known as Young C, who undertook a controversial 24-hour challenge of being buried alive. Young C’s profile is no longer accessible on the platform, following widespread condemnation of his stunt.

The challenge, which garnered significant attention online, drew comparisons to a similar feat by American YouTuber MrBeast (Jimmy Donaldson), who spent 50 hours buried alive two years ago to raise awareness about deforestation.

Young C’s attempt sparked uproar on Wednesday when he announced his intention to be buried alive in a coffin for 24 hours. However, he later reassured his followers on Instagram, stating, “Guys, I am still alive, I am still fine, I am okay.” Despite running out of water during the ordeal, he remained determined to complete the challenge.

In a previous video, Young C mentioned experiencing physical discomfort after being buried for over 8 hours, including excessive sweating. Despite the challenges, he continued to document his experience from inside the coffin, with his camera and light still functioning.

why TikTok banned Young C’s account

Following the burial stunt controversy, TikTok took prompt action by deactivating the entertainer’s profile, citing violations of the platform’s community guidelines.

The decision to suspend Young Cent’s account was based on the platform’s stringent policies aimed at preventing content that could jeopardize individuals’ safety and well-being.

In response to the suspension, Young Cent reached out to his followers through a video on his new TikTok account, which he created shortly after the conclusion of the controversial challenge. In his message, he encouraged his audience to join him on his new channel, @youngcententertainment2, to stay informed about his activities.

“It seems my previous TikTok profile has been deactivated, and I’ve set up a new one with the handle ‘@youngcententertainment2’. I urge everyone to connect with me there. Let’s aim for 1000 followers so I can start providing live updates and keep you all informed,” he appealed.
