The Tiktok monetization program is called the Creativity Program. This is the program that allows creators earn on the platform.

Tiktok has a list of requirements in order to apply for this program, which includes having at least 10,000 followers and at least 100,000 video views in the last 30 days.

Another important requirement is that creators must post videos that are longer than a minute to receive compensation through this program.

TikTok claims that creators can earn up to 20 times more than offered through its Creator Fund program.

  • You must own a Personal (or Creator) account. Business accounts are not eligible. 
  • You must have over 100,000 followers.
  • You must have uploaded at least 3 videos in the last 28 days.
  • You must have received over 100,000 likes on their videos in the past 28 days.
  • You must reside within the 24 countries where TikTok Creator Marketplace is available.

If you meet these requirements, you can apply to brands that have “open campaigns” on Tiktok and earn on the creator marketplace. Brands can also send invitations to you directly if they are interested in collaborating with you.

TikTok Affiliate Marketing Program

The Tiktok Affiliate marketing is somewhat similar to its Creator’s Marketplace feature. However, there are slight differences.

The affiliate marketing enables you connect with brands or businesses you trust and promote their products online.

  • Have at least 1K authentic video views in the last 30 days.

Tiktok Video Gifts

The Tiktok Video Gifts allows creators enable Video Gifts. This means you can collect Diamonds based on the popularity of your video.

There are set requirements to apply for this feature thus:

  • Reside in a region where Video Gifts are available.
  • Be at least 18 years old.
  • Have at least 10K followers, with an account that is older than 30 days.
  • Have published a public video in the last 30 days.
  • Follow TikTok’s Community Guidelines and Terms of Service.

Note that only personal accounts are eligible for Video Gifts. Business accounts are ineligible for this feature. Also videos which include Duets or Stitches, Ads, promoted posts, or sponsored content are ineligible for Video Gifts.
