Port Harcourt, Nigeria – Nigeria’s mega church, Omega Power Ministries (OPM) has acquired a multi-million naira property to house beneficiaries of its foreign scholarship scheme in Turkey.
The General Overseer and founder of the church, Apostle Chibuzor Chinyere made this known via a Facebook post on his verified account.
Apostle Chibuzor, who is famous for his charity works especially in the areas of education said he had acquired the 7-bedroom duplex (detached) for the scholarship students to cut down on accommodation expenses spent on the beneficiaries in Turkey.

16 students who are recipients of Omega Power Ministries’ (OPM) foreign university scholarships left for Turkey in January this year while about 46 more students joined them in October,2020.
The scholarships cover fees, books, upkeep allowances and accommodation until the completion of studies.
For the past ten years, Omega Power Ministries has awarded scholarships to indigent persons to study in the United states of America, South Africa, Canada and United Kingdom. The scholarship schemes run by the mega church is open to every resident in Nigeria irrespective of country of origin or religion.
OPM Free Schools
Omega Power Ministries also runs 15 state of the art “free schools” in Nigeria where less privileged children are accepted free of charge to study. The pupils also enjoy free books, free school uniforms and are given a free meal per day while in school.
The church also runs a free hospital and a charity foundation that provides free skill training for over 10,000 artisans.
