EFCC Arrests 74 Suspected Internet Fraudsters in Ogun State

In a recent operation, the Ibadan Zonal Command of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) apprehended seventy-four individuals suspected of internet fraud in Ogun State.

The details of the apprehension were revealed in a statement released on the social media handle of EFCC.

The arrests took place at the Government Residential Area, G.R.A, Shagamu, following extensive surveillance and intelligence gathering.

Among the items confiscated during the operation were seven luxury cars, three laptops, 124 mobile phones, a PlayStation 3 game console, two motorcycles, and various incriminating documents.

The suspects are currently undergoing investigation and will be brought before the court once the inquiries are concluded.
