Governor Siminalayi Fubara has approved the appointment of new members to the Rivers State Senior Secondary Schools Board and the Rivers State Universal Basic Education Board.
According to a statement from the Office of the Secretary to the State Government, Dr. Tammy Wenike Danagogo, the new appointees are:
- Rivers State Senior Secondary Schools Board:
- Dr. Sam Emejuru – Chairman
- Mr. Francis Jacob – Member
- Dr. Mrs. Grace A. Jaja – Member
- Mrs. Jemina Margret Briggs – Member
- Mrs. Love Aguma – Member
- Rivers State Universal Basic Education Board:
- Alabo Dr. David T. Briggs – Chairman
- Nwuke Anucha – Member
- Dr. Alom Anyanya Austin-Mba – Member
- Dr. Walson Ominimi – Member
- Mrs. Ibieri Pepple – Secretary
The newly appointed board members are expected to be sworn in today, Friday, July 19, 2024, at 2 pm, at the Executive Council Chambers of Government House, in a ceremony presided over by Governor Fubara.
