The Port Harcourt Electricity Distribution Company, PHED, has said there will be lack of electricity supply to some areas of Port Harcourt due to a scheduled maintenance at the Afam Power Station.
PHED said this via a letter tweeted on the microblogging platform X on Thursday.
The maintenance will result in a planned power outage on 132/kv Afam/phmain Lines 2 to enable its technical team carryout maintenance works.
According to the letter, Areas that will be affected during the outage include, PH Township, PH main and Rumuosi transmission lines.
PHED assured customers that once the work is successfully completed, power supply will be restored.
