The late king of Eleme Kingdom, His royal majesty, King Samuel Oluke Ejire has been buried Thursday 10th January, 2019 in his hometown of Abonchia in Eleme Local Government Area of Rivers state.
The late royal father was laid to rest with a funfair that drew dignitaries from all works of life.
Abonchia community shutdown all commercial activities to honour their late king.
Late King S.O. Ejire died on the 5th of December, 2018 in Port Harcourt at the age of 89.
Representatives of the government of Rivers state led by his excellency, governor Nyesom Wike were in attendance among other dignitaries.
He will be remembered as a leader who fostered peace among his people.
