Victoria Idobo, a Nigerian student, has graduated with First Class Honours in Mathematics from the University of Uyo (UNIUYO).

Idobo announced her achievement on her Facebook page early Tuesday morning, expressing her excitement and gratitude.

In her post, Idobo wrote:

“Hey Facebook peeps,
It’s now official – B.Sc in Mathematics with First Class Honours!
I am particularly excited to have set and achieved this goal.

Also, I am grateful to my parents for their all-round support; my sisters especially for their hype; my lecturers who mostly prioritized knowledge over just passing exams; and my wonderful colleagues and friends.

Congratulations to me!
You can call me your First Class mathematician”.

Her announcement was accompanied by a statement of result, signed by Mrs. Catherine M. Alonge, the Directorate of Academic Affairs for the Registrar.
