Controversial social media critic Martin Otse, known widely as VeryDarkMan has been remanded in police custody pending his next court appearance scheduled for next Wednesday.
Otse was arraigned in an Abuja court on Wednesday, facing charges of cyberbullying to which he pleaded not guilty. His lawyer, Deji Adeyanju, filed a bail application, but the prosecution requested additional time to respond. Consequently, the court has postponed the bail hearing to May 29.
