Governor Umo Eno of Akwa Ibom has embarked on discussions with the Chinese Ambassador to Nigeria, Cui Jian Chun, at the Chinese Embassy in Abuja for a potential economic partnership.

This pivotal meeting signifies the commencement of efforts to forge a trade alliance between the People’s Republic of China and entrepreneurs within Akwa Ibom, in line with the state’s ARISE Agenda for sustainable progress.

Governor Umo Eno was warmly received by a Chinese Delegation, comprising leaders from prominent Chinese companies operating in Nigeria, along with esteemed embassy personnel.

“I was warmly welcomed by a distinguished Chinese Delegation comprising leaders of major Chinese companies in Nigeria and esteemed embassy staff. Together with my entourage, we are laying the foundation for a prosperous future built on robust international partnerships,” the Governor said.
