Organisers of Africa’s most loved reality TV show Big Brother Naija, have announced that the show will return for its 9th season on Sunday, 28 July 2024.

This season audiences can look forward to an electrifying twist – for the first time ever, contestants will be entering the game as pairs setting the stage for unprecedented alliances and thrilling competition.

The theme intends to inject new energy into the show, offering a fresh take on the competition. With each duo bringing unique dynamics to the house, audiences can expect intense rivalries and unexpected friendships to unfold.

A diverse lineup of duo housemates was chosen to participate in the 71-day run of the show with a N100million worth of cash and prizes to be won.

Dr. Busola Tejumola, Executive Head, Content & Channels, West Africa at MultiChoice, expressed enthusiasm for the season ahead, emphasising the show’s commitment to delivering unparalleled entertainment.

The season premiere is set for July 28th, and audiences can follow all the drama and excitement on DStv Channel 198 and GOtv Channel 129. Fans can watch the daily highlights shows and eviction shows on Akwaaba Magic DStv channel 150 and GOtv Channel 102.
