Peter Anthony Morgan, also known as Peetah Morgan, lead singer of the reggae musical group, Morgan Heritage of Jamaican descent, is dead.
Peter’s death was announced on the Morgan Family official Instagram page thus:
“It is out of sincere love that we share that our beloved husband, father, son, and brother and lead singer of Morgan Heritage Peter Anthony Morgan has ascended today February 25, 2024.
Jah come and save us from ourselves because love is the only way.
Our family thanks you in advance for your overwhelming love and support, and we ask for your continued prayers as we go through this process. We also ask that you please respect our privacy during this time of healing. Thank you!

The statement did not state the cause of death of the late singer.
Peter was an influential member of the group who doubled as its lead singer. He will be fondly remembered for his high spirited personality and showmanship.
