Portable Slams Nigerian Celebrities for Failing to Financially Support Top Director TG Omori

Portable Ignites Outrage: 'Fela Died Early for Not Minding His Business' – Fans React to Shocking Statement
Habeeb Okikiola, popularly known as Portable, has once again sparked a conversation within the entertainment industry, this time by criticizing fellow celebrities for not contributing financially to the medical bills of renowned music video director, TG Omori.

TG Omori, one of Nigeria’s top music video directors, recently underwent a kidney transplant surgery in Lagos. Unfortunately, the surgery was unsuccessful, as his body reportedly rejected the kidney donated by his brother. This devastating development has left the director in a critical condition, requiring further medical attention.

Portable, took to his social media platforms to express his disappointment with the entertainment industry’s response. In a video message, the “Zazoo Zehh” crooner berated Nigerian celebrities, accusing them of showing “fake love.” He pointed out that while celebrities like Davido, Kizz Daniel, and others have made solidarity posts about TG Omori’s situation, none have publicly donated to his medical expenses.

The singer further highlighted a disparity in the industry, noting that stars like Victor Osimhen, Don Jazzy, and others donated to controversial cross-dresser Bobrisky during his legal troubles, but have yet to extend the same generosity to TG Omori, who is battling a life-threatening illness.

“TG Omori has a kidney problem and celebrities are not donating money or kidney for him, but Victor Osimhen and others donated money for Bobrisky who has no value. The industry is full of fake love.”

Portable’s outburst has stirred a significant conversation online, with many debating the sincerity of support within the Nigerian entertainment industry. While some argue that charitable acts should not be publicized, others agree with Portable’s sentiments, urging celebrities to support TG Omori during this critical time.
