How Two FRSC Officers Were Killed by Unknown Gunmen in Anambra [PHOTOS]

Two officers of the Federal Road safety Corps (FRSC) were killed along Igbo-Ukwu/Uga road in Anambra state on April 3, 2020.

The officers, O.D. Odah and K.C Nwafor were shot and killed while on routine operations along Igbo-Ukwu route with their colleagues who narrowly escaped death.

Confirming the incident, the Corps marshal, Dr. Boboye Oyeyemi, sympathized with the Igbo-Ukwu command as well as members of the families of the deceased officers. He also assured the command that the corps is working with the police force to unravel the faceless killers.

Family and Loved ones Mourn slain FRSC Officers

A lady, Ijeoma Tina, who identified as the fiance to late officer KC Nwafor has mourned the deceased via a post on her Facebook account.

Tina poured out her sorrows following the death of her beloved Nwafor in the hands of Unknown Gunmen in Anambra. She recounted her Nwafor stood by her during hard times and how they were planning to get married this year before tragedy struck.

Well-wishers have penned condolences on her post and prayed the perpertrators of the act be unravelled and purnished.

This sad incident occured after the Anambra governor announced that it was in talks with the seccesionist movement IPOB in the state to bring to an end the reign of violence in the region.
