#LekkiMassacre : Hillary Clinton Calls on Buhari to Stop Killing #EndSARS Protesters

Former US first lady, Secretary of states and presidential candidate, Hillary Clinton has called on president Buhari to stop the killing of #Endsars protesters in Nigeria.

Mrs Clinton made the call Tuesday via a tweet on her verified handle.

Clinton posted ” I’m calling on you @mBuhari and the @HqNigerianMilitary to stop killing young #EndSars protesters #StopNigeriaGovernment “

Several peaceful protesters were gunned down by soldiers in Lekki, Lagos state, following an order by the Lagos state government to security forces to clampdown on defaulters of a hurriedly imposed curfew.

The military had also open fire on protesters in the country’s capital city on Monday.

Citizens are calling for an end to police brutality in country using the hashtag #EndSARS, that has since gained global prominence.
