The General Overseer and President of Ebomi Ministry, Prophet Isa El-Buba has been allegedly arrested by officers of the Department of State Security (DSS).
Prophet Isa El-Buba had preached against the recent Fulani herdsmen killings in Nigeria and criticized the silence of president Buhari over the atrocities of the herdsmen. The video of his preaching went viral on the social media and attracted many reactions from Nigerians.
In a Facebook post earlier, prophet Isa alerted Nigerians of his arrest accusing president Buhari of sending the DSS after him for speaking the truth.
His arrest has attracted condemnations from Nigerian online.
Another Facebook user, Benny Umoren also posted that she had contacted her friend who is a member of the Isa’s church and confirmed that DSS officers were patrolling the premises of the church in an attempt to arrest the preacher.
WIRED.ng cannot independently verify if the preacher was indeed arrested by the DSS at the time of this report. However, the news of the preacher’s arrest has attracted mixed reactions from Nigerians online.
