BREAKING: Kidnapped Akwa Ibom Pastor, John Okoriko Freed [VIDEO]

The founder and President of the Solid Rock Church, Apostle John Okoriko, 80, who was kidnapped in his church premises in Mkpat Enin, in Akwa Ibom state, on Tuesday has been released.

The pastor was reportedly abducted in his church premises on Tuesday around 5pm by the gunmen. The kidnappers were said to have scaled the fence and dragged the victim to the gate before taking him away.

A video of the elated clergyman singing in appreciation to God with members of his congregation after his released was obtained by REPORT AFRIQUE on Saturday night.

The pastor was said to be kidnapped in the Mkpat Enin Local Government Area of Akwa Ibom State. His abductors initially set his ransom at N100m before later reducing the ransom from N100m to N30m.

It was not clear if the pastor paid any ransom to his abductors to effect his release as at the time of this report.
