Police officers from the Abuja Command have rescued another kidnap victim, Suleiman Sabo from his abductors in Sauka along the Airport Road in Abuja.
The police hinted the press of this development in a statement signed by the Police Public Relations Officer of the FCT Command, Josephine Adeh on Sunday.
The rescue operation led to the arrest of one 32-year-old Muhammad Abel from Kogi State, North-Central Nigeria. An LAR rifle with 10 rounds of live ammunition were recovered from him.
In the statement, Adeh explained that the arrest of the suspect was part of continued effort to rid the Territory of criminality undertaken by Police operatives attached to Iddo Divisional Headquarters.
REPORT AFRIQUE earlier reported how one Philip Okoye, a notorious Abuja kidnap kingpin was arrested along Kaduna. Okoye was paraded at the at the Force Intelligence Response Team (IRT) base, Guzape, Federal Capital Territory on Saturday.
