“They must pay!” Mr Trump wrote.

Meghan and Harry’s security has been brought into question since the pair left the UK

The Canadian government announced at the start of March that it would end its security requirements for the pair.

Due to the status, the Royal Canadian Police had been providing security for the pair.

It is understood Meghan and her husband are currently living in Hollywood with their son Archie

The pair will step down from their roles as senior royals on March 31.

The move is intended for the pair to become more financially independent.

Following that date, they will no longer use their His/Her Royal Highness titles.

They will also not be able to use their Sussex Royal title as their brand.

These arrangements were made following a meeting with the Queen, the Prince of Wales and the Duke of Cambridge. All parties agreed to an initial review of these arrangements in 12 months’ time.
