Nigeria’s minister of transportation and popular stalwart of the All Progressive Congress, Honorable Rotimi Amaechi, has again survived an incident that would have taken his life.
The official car of the minister was seen partially gutted by fire in a video posted online by Jennifer Aaron, one of his supporters. Details of the cause of the fire is yet to made known by the minister.

Jennifer described the incident as an assassination attempt on the politician saying he (Amaechi) has “continually disappointed the devices of the crafty.”
Amaechi was recently onboard an Arik Air plane from Port Harcourt to Abuja that spent two hours on air trying to land amidst a rare turbulent wind. Videos made by passengers at the time of the turbulence went viral on social media with some supporters describing it as an assassination attempt on the life of the minister.

Rotimi Amaechi has been associated with the ongoing political tussle in the APC in his home, Rivers state. The political tussle has polarized the party with antagonizing factions and leaves an impending legal battle for who represents the party as the authentic gubernatorial flag-bearer.
